About The Position

Schomp Automotive Group is seeking a skilled and certified Ford Master Technician to join their team. This role involves servicing vehicles, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, recommending repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The technician will work towards dealership, group, and manufacturer goals, maintaining productivity and quality standards. The company emphasizes ethical service practices, only recommending and replacing what is necessary and approved.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as mainline technician in a professional dealership or automotive service center preferred
Ford Master Certification preferred
The ability to work independently with limited supervision and demonstrate the motivation to continually increase your knowledge & technical skills
Your own complete and up-to-date set of tools
You must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR

Responsibilities

Service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine scheduled and regular maintenance
Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues, and accurately recommend replacement/repair as needed
Work with your team toward achieving dealership, group, and manufacturer goals and benchmarks
Efficiently and accurately repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues, maintaining productivity goals
