About The Position

ISlide, Inc. is seeking a creative, dedicated, organized, and high-energy student for an unpaid internship providing hands-on business experience in a driven and fun environment focused on custom premium footwear. The intern will support inventory management, partner data feeds, product analysis, operations improvement, and product ideation while learning and participating in the company’s full operations process. The schedule is approximately 15 hours per week and can be arranged around the student’s schedule.

Requirements

• Proficient in time and project management, organization, and teamwork.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Interest in process improvement.
• Entry-level understanding of Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Enrollment in a Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management degree program is preferred.
• Entry-level background in Adobe Photoshop.
• Marketing- and creativity-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate inventory counts and quality checks, and ensure inventory is sufficient for distribution channels and direct customer demand.
• Prepare and send inventory feeds to partners by uploading new designs and updated inventory quantities into the EDI system.
• Complete and report turnover analysis to identify trends and optimize product ordering habits.
• Brainstorm ways to improve operational processes.
• Pitch ideas for new products and designs.
• Audit the existing item master and product catalog and suggest improvements.
• Learn and participate in the entire ISlide operations process.
