About The Position

The Football Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Head Football Coach with office operations, team personnel training and scheduling of the football program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Two (2) years of combined experience in collegiate football operations, collegiate coaching, or athletic department administration experience required.
• Evening and weekend work necessary.
• Student experience will be considered as half-time.
• Ability to multi-task and work well as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Division I administrative experience preferred.
• Experience in Concur, Workday, and Team Works.
• Experience in video coordinating.

Responsibilities

• Manages all operations of the football office including operating budget, team travel, quality control, NCAA compliance and recruiting related matters.
• Trains, supervises and mentors team managers, interns and other team personnel as assigned by head football coach
• Serves as liaison with various administrative units and functions for Intercollegiate Athletics division including academics, compliance, sports medicine, sports performance, and business.
• Work with appropriate external relations, alumni and fundraising efforts as guided by head coach.
• Must abide by the rules of the NCAA and the Southland Conference
• Other duties as assigned by Head Coach or Athletic Director.
