About The Position

The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for a Head Coach for Middle School Football. The Coach is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to student-athletes and assistant coaches as well as providing an overall vision for the program. We are seeking positive, passionate, enthusiastic individuals who will not only instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training, but also guide and mentor them to be driven and responsible student-athletes and citizens.

Requirements

• PA Dept. of Education safety and coaching training.
• PIAA safety and coaching training.

Responsibilities

• Providing leadership and guidance to student-athletes and assistant coaches.
• Providing an overall vision for the program.
• Instructing student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training.
• Guiding and mentoring student-athletes to be driven and responsible student-athletes and citizens.
