About The Position

Excel Sports Management is seeking Fall 2026 Interns for the Football Coaches division. This is a paid opportunity designed to allow participants to contribute to the organization's success while applying classroom learnings. The program will be hybrid, with interns gaining in-office experience approximately 3 days a week. Interns are responsible for their own transportation and housing. The program runs from September 14th, 2026, to December 10th, 2026. Interns are expected to work 24-29.9 hours per week. Lunch and learns will be held throughout the semester to provide exposure to other areas within Excel.

Requirements

Be available to work under 30 hours per week
Be available to report to the Chicago office approximately 3-days a week
Have a senior standing in college (must have completed your junior year of undergrad) OR be enrolled in a graduate school OR have a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree
Ability to handle confidential information

Responsibilities

Issue requests to all applicable universities and organize responses
Manage the construction of college football and NFL coaching database
Review and analyze coach’s employment contracts
Aid in the updating client marketing
Learning to assemble client media day pamphlets with other members of the team
Provide support in projects assigned as needed
Assist with inputting coaching, personnel, and organizational data within AI-powered databases to support research and analytics
