The Football Athletic Trainer (Temporary Contract) serves as an integral member of the Colorado State Football Sports Medicine team and assists in the delivery of comprehensive sports medicine services for NCAA Division I Football student-athletes. This position supports the prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, recovery, and performance optimization of football student-athletes through evidence-based clinical practice and interdisciplinary collaboration. Under the direction of the Head Football Athletic Trainer, Team Physicians, and Senior Associate Athletic Director for Health and Performance, the position works collaboratively with sports medicine staff, strength and conditioning staff, nutrition staff, mental health staff, and other qualified medical personnel to optimize student-athlete health, safety, and performance.
