Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of Foodservice Sales experience.
  • Previous experience leading a Foodservice Sales Team (either an internal team of broker network).
  • A pattern of initiative in sales or in a previous management assignment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • A pattern of strong goal setting and results accountability.
  • Proven ability to establish strategic selling initiatives.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and persuasive skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
  • Applicants must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the Foodservice sales team in the assigned geographic area to attain established sales volume, product mix, margin, and marketing goals.
  • Trains, develops, and motivates sales staff to assure they are a productive, accountable and high performing sales team. 
  • Develops relationships with all Foodservice Distributors at multiple levels as well as key operators.
  • Utilizes available promotional programs to maximize sales returns as compared to promotional dollars spent.
  • Manages and controls the Area’s expenses within approved guidelines.
  • Assures all administrative responsibilities assigned to this position are handled in a timely manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Personally identifies and sells larger accounts in the area in conjunction with the other members of the sales team.
