About The Position

This position is responsible for expanding Feeser's presence throughout the Greater Philadelphia region by identifying new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers. It is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys meeting decision-makers, creating customized solutions, and working in one of Pennsylvania's most dynamic foodservice markets. The role involves daily travel throughout the Greater Philadelphia market, covering Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, Chester Counties & South Jersey.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel daily throughout the Greater Philadelphia territory.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
  • Occasionally lift product samples weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Stand, walk, climb stairs, and move throughout customer facilities.
  • Operate a motor vehicle safely in urban and suburban environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of outside B2B sales experience.
  • Foodservice distribution experience.
  • Restaurant, hospitality, healthcare, or institutional foodservice experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue restaurants, healthcare organizations, schools, hospitality groups, and institutional foodservice operators throughout the Greater Philadelphia region.
  • Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, community involvement, and industry events.
  • Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective customers.
  • Present customized foodservice solutions that meet each customer's operational goals.
  • Build lasting partnerships with restaurant owners, executive chefs, foodservice directors, and purchasing managers.
  • Conduct routine account reviews to identify growth opportunities.
  • Introduce new products, seasonal offerings, and promotional programs.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and responsive service.
  • Analyze purchasing trends and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist customers with menu innovation and product selection.
  • Coordinate product sampling and vendor-supported demonstrations.
  • Keep customers informed of market conditions, pricing trends, and industry developments.
  • Develop an effective weekly sales strategy for your assigned territory.
  • Maintain detailed customer activity within the CRM platform.
  • Forecast sales opportunities and monitor territory performance.
  • Collaborate with leadership to achieve annual sales objectives.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Purchasing, Transportation, Warehouse Operations, Credit Department, and Manufacturer Representatives to ensure customers receive exceptional service from order placement through delivery.
