About The Position

The Foodservice Business Advisor is a dynamic field support role in Western Washington which supports the retail foodservice program, foodservice team, and foodservice customers. This position works closely with the Foodservice Sales Developers to onboard new foodservice business with a focus on Harbor Real Fresh Brands QSR’s onboarding, update menu and retail pricing, perform cost of goods analysis, Real Fresh Brands compliance, and in-store training for quick service restaurant concepts in convenience stores and markets . Position requires travel, primarily in assigned regions with roughly 40% overnight, (2 days per week on a average).

Requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite with emphasis in Excel
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience preferred
  • Strong communication & organizational skills especially with field sales teams and customers
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a self-starter with good self-direction
  • Ability to work alone and independently for long periods of time in a fast-paced environment where details and resourcefulness are key attributes
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, reliable and presentable transportation and required insurance
  • Must live centrally located within territory
  • HS diploma or equivalent.
  • MS Office Suite with intermediate Outlook and Excel.
  • Outstanding communication skills internally and externally.
  • Direct experience within a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment; preferably field sales or multi-unit locations.
  • Foodservice, retail, merchandising experience.
  • Experience in training/facilitation.
  • ServeSafe

Responsibilities

  • Travel to assigned areas to support trainings, openings, and events.
  • Provide support in additional markets as needed for special events and trainings.
  • Schedule and conduct RFB compliance reviews and any required follow‑up training.
  • Study and successfully complete ServSafe online training (with proxy).
  • Partner with Foodservice Sales Developers (FSDs) to evaluate and identify retail locations that are a strong operational, demographic, and volume fit for QSR‑branded foodservice programs.
  • Assess new QSR locations to place initial stocking orders, verify equipment and smallwares, set employee training schedules, and determine training duration on a case-by-case basis.
  • Collaborate with store owners and managers on initial QSR planning, setup, and execution processes.
  • Conduct foodservice business reviews with key customers.
  • Advise customers on menu selections, product gaps, suggested retail pricing (SRPs), and new foodservice product opportunities.
  • Perform cost‑of‑goods analysis and maintain updates using Excel.
  • Communicate with FSDs and customers to manage, prioritize, and execute customer projects and training schedules.
  • Create and manage Outlook calendar invites for QSR trainings, ensuring all relevant team members are included and milestones are clearly communicated.
  • Coordinate with Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) on duty transitions following QSR openings and trainings, including follow‑up needs identified during business reviews.
  • Forecast new business with purchasing teams to support QSR openings, identify potential shortages, and resolve stocking order gaps.
  • Submit and manage foodservice stocking orders.
  • Consult with customers on custom foodservice graphic and marketing projects.
  • Submit digital menu updates and graphic project requests to the graphics department.
  • Coordinate with graphics teams and print vendors on project details, timelines, and costs.
  • Partner with the RFB Marketing team to update and develop training tools and resources.
  • Communicate Real Fresh Brands QSR program updates, including Limited ‑ Time Offer (LTO) menu items, or product issues to internal teams and customers to ensure timely awareness, execution, and alignment.
  • Identify and communicate product‑related issues to the appropriate internal teams to ensure timely resolution and minimize impact to QSR operations and customers.
