Lora Bay is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Truck Cook/Commis Chef to join our culinary team in Thornbury. This Back of House position is primarily based in our Food Truck operation, where you will help deliver high-quality food and exceptional service in a fast-paced outdoor dining environment. From time to time, the successful candidate may also provide support within the Clubhouse kitchen, offering valuable exposure to a broader culinary operation. Under the guidance of renowned Chef Mark McEwan and his team at McEwan Restaurant Consultants, our culinary program is built on expertise, innovation, and the highest standards of excellence. Chef Mark’s insights shape our menus, refine our kitchen operations, and elevate our service, ensuring every dish reflects culinary mastery. This collaboration also provides our kitchen team with hands-on training, fostering growth and skill development under industry-leading mentorship. Reporting to the Junior Sous Chef, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef, the Line Cook/Commis Chef plays a key role in the kitchen’s daily operations by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth service execution. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible through October.
