Requirements

• High school diploma
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a food service preferred, but not required
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong understanding of food safety protocols
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Passion for cooking and creating delicious meals

Responsibilities

• In charge of food preparation
• Supervise/instruct inmate workers to utilize proper job skills and good work ethic in order to enhance their opportunities for employment upon release
• Ensure food preparation meets high-quality standards
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
• Enforce safety and sanitation regulations
