About The Position

Erin Mills Lodge has an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Food Services Manager to join their team. This is a temporary position for 12 months, full-time, working 60 hours bi-weekly. The role is located at 2132 Dundas Street West, Mississauga, ON. The expected hiring range for this position is $48,410 to $52,300. This role falls within a broader internal salary band, with growth opportunities based on demonstrated performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in large quantity food preparation and food purchasing, including financial planning.
• Experience leading and inspiring a large food services team in a unionized environment.
• Familiarity with Ontario Food Premises Regulation, CCHSA, Ontario Long Term Care Facility Program manual, Long Term Care Homes Act, and OH&S Act.
• Active membership in the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (C.S.N.M.).

Responsibilities

• Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of hospitality services to our residents.
• Lead and support the food service team with hands-on training, coaching and leadership while maintaining the food services department to exceed Public Health and Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care standards.
• Ensure that diet and nutritional requirements are met and regular assessments are completed.
• Plan and support catering functions in the Village.
• Create an enhanced dining experience for our residents.
• Manage purchasing, department schedules and payroll duties.
