About The Position

Join Our Team at Avita Health System – Avita Ontario Hospital. Avita Health System is proud to serve the communities of Crawford and Richland counties through three hospitals and numerous clinic locations. Over the past few years, we’ve tripled in size, now employing over 2,300 team members and more than 200 physicians and advanced practitioners. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to the people who depend on us. We’re currently seeking a dedicated Food Services Liaison to join our Food & Nutritional Services Department at our Ontario location. The Food Services Liaison is responsible for the accuracy and quality of all patient meals being served. Must be able to use electronic medical records system for all diet information and consult with the Clinical Dietician regarding nutritional and diet prescriptions.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Certified in ServeSafe or have the Ohio Department of Health’s Certification in Food Protection or obtained within three months of hire.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of two years of experience in a customer service role.
Experience working in Customer Service.
Experience working in food service environment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the accuracy and quality of all patient meals being served.
Use electronic medical records system for all diet information.
Consult with the Clinical Dietician regarding nutritional and diet prescriptions.
