Food Services - Floater
About The Position
Food Service Floaters have the same general duties as other part-time kitchen staff but are not permanently assigned to one location. Floaters are used to fill positions temporarily open due to employee illness, use of personal days, etc. Floaters are informed of the work location and hours by 7:30 a.m. daily. Job responsibilities can include food preparation, food serving, clean-up, and cashiering. Floaters efficiently and properly prepare food items for service to customers, maintain high standards for preparing and presenting food for quality and safety, and provide excellent and efficient customer service.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand or walk the entire work shift.
- Must be able to perform twisting, pushing, and pulling motions.
- Regular lifting of 10-20 lbs. required.
- Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. required.
Responsibilities

- Prepare food items for service to customers.
- Maintain high standards for preparing and presenting food for quality and safety.
- Provide excellent and efficient customer service.
- Perform clean-up duties.
