Food Services Associate I - Rotating Shifts
About The Position
This position is full-time, rotating shifts. The position hours are 6:30AM until 3:00PM, 11:00AM until 7:30PM, and 11:30AM until 8:00PM. Team member will be required to work all three of those shifts and work rotating weekends and holidays. This position is eligible for shift pay differentials. Location: IU Health University Hospital. Prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public. Responsible for timely, accurate, and courteous service. Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment.
- Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to reach, stand for long periods of time, squat, bend, carry and/or lift supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Prior food service experience is preferred.
