About The Position

We are looking for team members who are passionate about challenging and significant work for the good of every patient. We are searching for individuals who are compassionate, service with a purpose, are dedicated to supporting their team, and who seek excellence every day. This is a part-time position with a schedule of Tuesday & Wednesday, every other weekend, from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm, located at Tipton Hospital.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred.
No experience is required.
Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment.
Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.
Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption.
Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment.

Nice To Haves

Prior food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public.
Responsible for timely, accurate, and courteous service.
Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety.
Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment.
