About The Position

This is a per diem position in food services. The role involves the delivery of patient meals, preparation of patient trays, answering patient calls for food, and maintaining inventory of floor stock items. Responsibilities also include retrieving finished trays, operating a dish machine, washing and putting away dishes, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness through sweeping and mopping. Upholding strict sanitation and food safety guidelines is crucial, as is working collaboratively with fellow employees to complete daily tasks as a team.

Requirements

• Must pass a Drug and Health Screening upon hiring
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check upon hiring

Responsibilities

• Delivery of patient meals
• Answering the phone when patients call down for food
• Preparing the patient trays for delivery
• Taking inventory of Floor Stock Items and replenishing them
• Retrieving finished trays from patient areas and bringing to kitchen
• Operating a dish machine to wash dishes, etc.
• Putting away clean dishes, etc.
• Sweeping and mopping the floors in the kitchen
• Upholding strict sanitation and food safety guidelines
• Helping out fellow employees to complete the day’s work as a team
