The Food Service Worker supports daily nutrition and dining operations at MD Anderson Cancer Center. The Food Service Worker plays a vital role in food preparation, meal assembly, sanitation, and delivery processes that directly support patient care, visitors, and staff. This role requires close adherence to food safety, infection control, and customer service standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment. MD Anderson Cancer Center is a leading institution focused on cancer care, research, education, and prevention. The Food Service Worker contributes to MD Anderson Cancer Center’s mission by ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality food service operations that promote patient well-being and operational excellence. The Food Service Worker works collaboratively with team members while maintaining compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate for the Food Service Worker role has experience in food preparation, has a fast-food restaurant experience preferably in the production / kitchen, sanitation, and customer service within a healthcare or high-volume food service setting, demonstrates knowledge of food safety and infection control practices, and maintains a strong commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and confidentiality. Education, experience, and certifications should align with food service operations and healthcare standards, with the ability to follow standardized recipes, safety procedures, and service expectations. Shift: Work schedule: Monday - Friday | 11:00am - 8:00pm | No weekends and holidays Why Us?
