About The Position
The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care. We are currently seeking Food Service Workers to care for our Veterans. Join our team if you want to give back to those who have given so much for our Country.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will work within a team-centered environment to meet our commitment to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity, and providing compassionate care.
- This agency is prohibited from hiring employees with convictions identified in 906 KAR 1:190. A fingerprint- supported national background check will be conducted prior to an offer of employment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and serving meals.
- Maintain dietary work areas, equipment and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition.
Benefits
- Locality Premium – $2.98 per hour
- Second and Third shift: 15%
- Weekend and Holidays: 25%
