About The Position

The Village of Tansley Woods has an exciting opportunity for a Food Service Worker to join their team. This is a Permanent Part-Time position with 30 hours bi-weekly. The hiring rate for this role is $18.57 per hour, per collective agreement/employee association agreement. Requirements

Completed, enrolled in or willing to enroll in the Food Services Worker training program
Hold a valid Food Handlers certification
Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
Be able to lift up to 35lbs
Have exceptional time management skills and ability to work in collaboration with a team

Responsibilities

Assist in serving meals and beverages to our residents ensuring we meet residents’ diets and food preferences while following safe and sanitary food handling techniques
Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of customer service to our residents
Assist with the preparation of catering functions and events
Maintain a clean dining room and workspace
