About The Position

This position works in the dining center during lunch and dinner service periods, assisting with meal service completion, cleanup, and preparation of the cafeteria area for the next day. The role focuses on the front of house (FOH) within the dining services department, ensuring high-quality, properly seasoned, and nutritious food is served. The Food Service Worker will cooperate as a member of the dining services team, provide excellent customer service and guest interactions, and help maintain a safe, clean, and attractive facility.

Requirements

• Evening and weekend availability
• Knowledge of proper food safety, food handling, storage and service techniques
• Excellent customer service skills
• Familiarity with batch cooking techniques
• Time management skills to avoid over/under production
• Prior foodservice experience

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• ServSafe certification
