About The Position
This position will be working in a local production/commercial kitchen. Shifts are either 6am-2pm or 9:30am-5:30pm. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered, with $250 paid after 90 days and $250 after 180 days.
Requirements
- A positive and consistent work ethic
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- A willingness to learn and grow within your position
- Ability to do basic math and read recipes
- Background check required
Nice To Haves
- Food service experience preferred
- Computer literacy preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Cooking and food preparation
- Portioning and packaging meals
- Sanitation in conjunction with USDA and state guidelines.
- HAACP and health department regulation compliance
- Assisting to monitor costs and inventory controls.
