Assists with food service and preparation for all service areas (e.g., portions food in advance and on tray line, grills burgers, etc.), operates/utilizes kitchen and café equipment (e.g. steam table, toaster, etc.) to complete the task; ensures sanitary condition of food areas. Operates equipment (e.g. dish machine, pulper, tray accumulator, etc.) to wash dishes. Relocates food, supplies and dishes to designated areas. Cleans dining area tables and empties trash bins as needed. Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and varied shifts. Ensure all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to hospital standards. Completes the daily sanitation for scheduled position. Restock work area with food and paper supplies. Operates cash register and makes change for purchases in the café when scheduled to staff a café position.
