About The Position

This position is for a Food Service Worker at New Albany High School, working 3.5 hours per day for 187 days per year. The starting hourly pay is $18.55. The role requires skills in cooking, organization, record keeping, decision-making, and interpersonal communication. The worker will assist the Cook in food preparation, manage stock receiving and storage, maintain freezer and cooler inventory, and operate an electronic cash register as needed. Effective communication with students and staff is essential, and the position requires the full support of the Coordinator of Food Services and Assistant Superintendent. Responsibilities

• Assists the Cook in preparation of food
• Responsible for receiving and putting away stock

• Technological proficiency to operate an electronic cash register as required
