About The Position

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, Chef, and Supervisor, this position is responsible for the warewashing and sanitation of kitchen facility. Operates dish machine and assures work area and equipment is clean. Prompt distribution of patient meal carts and responsible for tray passing and return of soiled trays. Breaks down evening catering meals and cleans meeting room. Sweeps, mops and takes out mats for cleaning, as well as removes all trash. Closes kitchen and secures doors after leaving department.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED Preferred.
• Food Handlers Certification.
• Must be able to read and write in English and follow both verbal and written instructions.
• No previous experience required.
