About The Position
This position is working in one of the Bradford Area School District's kitchens/cafeterias prepping, cooking, and serving the students and staff. For the most part, applicant will work Monday through Friday. Applicant will receive PTO days, Holiday pay, slip-resistance shoe reimbursement, and can receive four 9-week bonus' if qualifications are met.
Requirements
- The ability to obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks
- A positive and consistent work ethic
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- A willingness to learn and grow within your position
- Food service experience preferred
- Computer literacy preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Cooking and food preparation
- Portioning and serving
- Sanitation in conjunction with USDA and state guidelines
- HAACP and health department regulation compliance
- Assisting to monitor costs and inventory controls
