About The Position

The Food Service Worker supports daily cafeteria operations by preparing, serving, and maintaining a clean and safe food environment for students and staff. This role plays an important part in ensuring meals are served efficiently while following all health, safety, and nutrition guidelines. Schedule: Monday–Friday , 10am-2pm Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Willingness to complete a Live Scan Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
• Current T.B. test with clear results.
• Must successfully complete the Mandatory Abuse Report Training course.
• Food Safe Certification # TPGYC3

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service or cafeteria experience is a plus
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, and assembling ingredients
• Serve meals to students and staff in a friendly and efficient manner
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, warmers, and dishwashers
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, serving areas, and dining spaces
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Restock food, supplies, and utensils as needed
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
• Follow portion control and meal guidelines set by the school or district
• Support team members to ensure timely meal service
