About The Position
A facility located in Tyler, TX is seeking to hire a Food Service Worker. This position involves assembling trays based on diet orders, preparing and serving food for patients and cafeteria customers, delivering food carts, maintaining a clean workstation, and stocking food and supply areas.
Requirements
- Previous food service or healthcare experience is required
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of times, lift heavy objects, and push/pull food carts
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Responsibilities
- Assemble tray based on diet orders and ensure accuracy before delivery
- Prepare, portion, and serve food for patients and cafeteria customers including peeling, cutting, and preparing salads or beverages
- Deliver food carts to patient rooms and retrieve soiled trays
- Maintain a clean workstation, wash pots, pans, dishing utilizing dish machines
- Stock food and supply areas. rotate inventory, and check for expired items
