About The Position

Join our team as a food service aide and help make a difference in our guests lives with fresh, chef-created, and prepared food. Be a lunch SUPERHERO working with a team of professionals to bring nutritious and authentic food to our customers! Every day is different, engaging, and fun where you are working with a great team of people! Private School located in South Austin, looking for a well versed food Service employee that is engaging, likes kids and works well with others. We are a small team serving 350-450 students and teachers daily. Must be efficient with time.

Requirements

• Food Service experience preferred/customer service experience desired
• Ability to do simple arithmetic
• Ability to make correct change and use a basic computation device
• Contributes to a positive work environment
• Demonstrates integrity and respects confidentiality
• Dependable, punctual
• An independent self-starter able to meet deadlines
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Follows food safety requirements/guidelines
• Successfully pass a criminal background check
• Friendly and personable
• Basic Knife skills
• Good Time Management

Responsibilities

• Preparing, serving, distributing food and clean up and may require working in various areas
• Setting the team up for success by preparing the condiments and utensil areas
• Contributing to a positive work environment
• Demonstrating integrity, dependability, and punctuality
• Maintaining a professional appearance
• Following food safety requirements/guidelines, Must have Food Handlers Permit
• Performs other duties as requested by the leadership team
