About The Position
The Robert E. Spiller Bowling Green Veterans Center is a 60-bed long term care facility located in beautiful Bowling Green, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care. We are currently seeking Food Service Workers to care for our Veterans. Join our team if you want to give back to those who have given so much for our Country.

Responsibilities
- Assists in preparing and serving meals.
- Maintains dietary work areas, equipment and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition.
- Serves nutritious meals to our residents
- Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils and ensures they are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Learns to prepare items for residents.
- Ensures proper stocks levels are maintained for kitchen areas assigned.
Benefits
- Locality Premium – $4.97 per hour
- Second and Third shift: 15%
- Weekend and Holidays: 25%
