About The Position
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Food Service Worker who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for food preparation and other customer service activities. You will work in the cafeteria at various stations (i.e. grill, pizza, and deli), cashiering, serving hot line items to customers and assisting with catering. You could be assigned to facilitate meal service for patient services, and assist in storeroom tasks for the department by receiving deliveries or delivering of floor stock to nursing units.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in English/ Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to handle a multi-task environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospital food service experience helpful
- Food Handlers Certification helpful
Responsibilities
