About The Position
The Adult Day Health Care program is looking for a part-time Food Service Worker to join their team. This role involves general knowledge of food preparation and handling techniques, executing various food service assignments, and working effectively both independently and as part of a team. The position requires maintaining a clean, safe, and neat environment for clients, self, and staff.
Requirements
- Minimum of six months previous food service experience required.
- Ability to communicate and respond politely to customers.
- Can commit to work every Saturday on flexible shifts.
Responsibilities
- Handles the storage, preparation, portioning, and serving of food.
- Cleans immediate work areas and maintains a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Washes small wares and equipment, conforming to all sanitary codes and standards.
- Prepares cold foods, salads, and nourishment as needed or required.
- Performs other related duties as required.
