We're looking for reliable team members to help provide exceptional dining services to our military community. Earn $18.47 per hour with employer-paid medical insurance through the Health & Welfare benefit. No food service experience is required. This dining facility operates 7 days a week, with employees working a 6-day schedule and shifts from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Join a team that takes pride in serving those who serve our country.

Requirements

  • Must pass a military installation background check required.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) preferred.
  • No previous food service experience is required.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Well-organized and self-directed team player.
  • The ability, after training, to serve customers at an efficient pace while providing friendly customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Replace glassware, dishes, and silverware and refill condiment containers.
  • Wipe and wash tables and countertops.
  • Clean work area, utensils, and equipment; remove garbage; mop floors, walls, windows, and tables.
  • Use chemical solutions and operate electric dish washing machine and or wash glassware, pots and pans and kitchen utensils by hand.
  • Assist in areas as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain in a sanitary condition- equipment and work areas, utensils, and tables.
  • Perform a wide variety of manual tasks in kitchen or dining area of a food activities, which involves light to moderate physical effort and is done according to established procedures.
  • Perform ware-washing, and keep pot and pan areas in order prior to, during and after meals.
  • Notify supervisor immediately of malfunctioning, inoperative, unsafe, or hazardous equipment cleaned or used.
