About The Position
Performs a variety of tasks having several steps or a sequence of tasks that requires attention to work operations in a kitchen, dining area, and must be able to follow procedures. Must have the ability to follow instructions and work well with people.
Requirements
- Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs and pull, push and lift equipment; while utilizing the proper lifting procedures and practices.
- Must pass pre-employment background check.
- Must have a REAL ID to get on Joint Base Langley/Eustis.
Nice To Haves
- One year work experience desirable.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures, sanitation, and operation of standard kitchen equipment is desired.
Responsibilities
- Set up cafeteria lines, steam-tables, dining room tables, and side service stands with hot and cold food items, including meats, vegetables, salads, desserts, bread, butter and beverages.
- Unload and store food from delivery trucks.
- Assist cooks in preparation and perform duties as server when necessary to support customers.
