About The Position
The school nutrition team is looking for a dependable Food Service Utility Worker to help maintain a safe, spotless kitchen and support meal service for students every day. At Whitsons, every role is essential in fueling young minds and supporting learning. As a Utility Worker, you’ll help create a safe, clean kitchen where students receive healthy meals every day.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Ability to speak and read English in order to understand and perform job assignments.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service or janitorial experience
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Clean and sanitize prep areas, counters, and floors
- Take out trash and keep storage areas tidy
- Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries
- Support the kitchen team with basic prep tasks when needed
