About The Position

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA, is hiring a Food Service Worker II, to act as a team lead for the department. This is a full time, rotating shift position with rotating weekends. The hospital offers a full range of medical care from emergency heart catheterization to all-inclusive obstetrics care where patients can stay in one room. The hospital also provides advanced imaging and “smart” operating rooms. Requirements

High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
Food Handlers Card (Required)
Two years of previous food service experience (Required)

Nice To Haves

Previous team lead or supervisory experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Acts as team lead to lead Food Service Workers in daily food and tray line set up, service and clean up/sanitation.
Helps train new staff.
Conducts inventory.
Assigns tasks.
Monitors portion control.
Ensures service areas and equipment are sanitized and cleaned.
Ensures procedures for recipes, menus, quality and safe food handling guidelines are followed.
