About The Position

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Full-time, Rotating Shift, Food Service Worker II (Team Lead) for Food Services. This role acts as a Lead person and leads Food Service Workers in daily food and tray line set up, service and clean up/sanitation. The position involves helping train new staff, conducting inventory, assigning tasks, monitoring portion control, and ensuring service areas and equipment are sanitized and cleaned. The worker must also ensure procedures for recipes, menus, quality, and safe food handling guidelines are followed.

Requirements

High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
Food Service Handler's Card (as required by local Health Department) (Required)
2 Years Food Service Experience (Required)

Cook Experience (Preferred)

Customer Service experience (Preferred)
