Requirements

  • Able to read and perform basic math calculations
  • Reading and writing skills

Responsibilities

  • Works assigned position on tray stations placing appropriate items on trays neatly, accurately and deliver carts to floors all within time guidelines.
  • Works assigned position in dish unit, pot and pan, or cart delivery using PPE'S, correct sanitation procedures all within time guidelines.
  • Work area and equipment properly stocked, cleaned and sanitized according to established department standards and HAACP.
  • Teamwork and flexibility. Is flexible to meet department needs.
  • Picks up extra time, works over when needed.
  • Mentors new employees.
  • Prepares and delivers patient nourishments, floor stock, late trays and other requests in accordance with established procedures.
