Come join our team at Barnes-Jewish Hospital as a Food Service Worker I. This is a Part Time position working 20 hours per week, with availability for AM AND PM Shifts. Responsibilities include assisting with assembling trays and working in the dishroom. The Department of Food and Nutrition serves patients, visitors, and employees with excellent customer service, ensuring patients' nutritional needs are met during their hospital stay according to specified guidelines to improve their clinical status and assist in the healing process. Opportunities are available for all skill levels. The Role Purpose is to perform a variety of food service functions such as setting up service areas, food portioning, serving, sanitation, operating a cash register, assembling patient trays, and assisting with customer requests. Position may also perform food preparation at some locations.
