About The Position

This role is for a dependable and detail-oriented Food Service Worker – Dishwasher who will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining environment. This role includes dishwashing, assisting with food prep, meal delivery, and ensuring sanitation and safety standards are consistently met. Bilingual English-Spanish candidates are strongly preferred.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of food service or kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow both verbal and written instructions in English
• Bilingual, Spanish & English speaking strongly preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must attain food safety and sanitation certification as required (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and sanitize food service areas to maintain high sanitation standards
• Assist with basic food preparation and portioning meals according to menu guidelines
• Deliver meal carts and support setup/breakdown of dining and event spaces
• Perform regular and deep cleaning tasks, including kitchen appliances, floors, and windows
• Support inventory tasks such as receiving deliveries, stocking supplies, and rotating food items
