Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Willingness to work in Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania
• Willingness to work full-time from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with rotating days and weekends to be determined
• Food service experience in an assisted living facility, nursing home, hospital, restaurant, or other food service operation
• Work experience interacting with patients, residents, or customers while serving food or cleaning in patient/resident rooms or in a dining room setting
• Work experience with food safety and sanitation in a dietary department

Responsibilities

• Use kitchen equipment to prepare and portion food items
• Interpret diet information and assemble trays to meet resident needs
• Transport and deliver meal trays and refill dining items as needed
• Clean equipment, dining areas, floors, and walls to maintain safety
• Document food use, temperatures, and meal counts on required forms
• Help prepare food or decorations for special events
