This full-time FOOD SERVICE UTILITY position is responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas and keeping equipment and utensils clean and orderly. Key duties include sweeping and mopping floors to meet safety and sanitation standards, washing various food preparation surfaces such as worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks. The role also involves trash removal and disposal into designated containers, steam cleaning or hosing out garbage cans, and transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Additionally, the utility person will assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup, help with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and products, and distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed. Compliance with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements is mandatory, and other duties may be assigned.
