They are experts in operations, process, and efficiency, leading food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all Food & Beverage areas of the store. The role of a Food Service Team Leader provides skills and experience in guest service fundamentals, building a guest-first and freshness culture, Food & Beverage business fundamentals (department sales trends, freshness, food safety and quality, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, and pricing and promotions strategies), planning department workload, and leading a team of hourly team members (interviewing, training, coaching, evaluating, retaining, and developing talent).
