About The Position

The University of Iowa Health Care department of Food & Nutrition Services is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to supervise the performance of general service staff in designated areas, and enforces departmental work guidelines and policies/procedures. Maintain adequate staffing, food quality, schedules, and quality assurance records. Complete assigned forecasting, order menu items to meet demand, and assist in providing food service as needed. Attend assigned meetings and conducts staff meetings. Requirements

High School graduation or equivalent and two years of directly related food distribution experience; or any equivalent combination of post high school education and experience providing a knowledge or background in institutional food service distribution
Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any conviction history
Subject to a criminal background check
