About The Position

The Food Production Supervisor plans, administers and directs all unit activities related to food production, culinary operations and complying with the standards established by the Food & Nutrition Services Department and regulatory agencies. Lead food production staff. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified food service experience for patients, visitors and staff.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in culinary or High School Degree and three years of experience as a lead in the food service or hospitality industry
  • Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) through ANSI approved program within 90 days of employment
  • Allergen certification within 90 days of employment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 5 Years of experience in related position, such as Food Production Supervisor in a Healthcare setting
  • Certified Dietary Manager
  • Purchasing, Culinary, Math, and Computer skills
