About The Position

Responsible for general duties in the food service department, including front of house, back of house, and dish room operations. This role emphasizes cleanliness, sanitation, and customer service, while adhering to the guidelines, policies, and procedures set by the Food Service Department. The position involves various stations such as cashier, pizza, burger, and panini, and may include assisting with catering events. Responsibilities also extend to opening and closing procedures, stocking, cash handling, and maintaining a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates IWCC’s core mission, vision and values
  • Follow the guidelines, polices, and procedures set down by the Food Service Department
  • Cashier, FOH Duties, Caterings, Back of House, Dish Room, Pizza Station, Burger Station, Panini Station and other duties as assigned
  • Responsible for superior customer service practices
  • Responsible for following the safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures set down by the Food Service Department
  • Responsible for stocking the front of house for the next day business (i.e. clean dishes, refill condiments, re-stock sandwich bar, etc.)
  • Responsible for the process involved in obtaining cash sales, credit sales, meal plans, and declining balance
  • Assist in catered events if assigned
  • Assist in front of house duties, when assigned
  • Assist in back of house duties, when assigned
  • Responsible for washing dishes, equipment, small wares, etc., when assigned
  • Responsible for closing procedures when working an evening shift
  • Responsible for opening procedures when working a morning shift
  • Responsible for weekend hours when scheduled by management
  • Responsible for following dress code and appearance requirements set down by the Food Service Department
  • Regular, prompt and reliable attendance
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
