About The Position

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Food Service Specialist to join our on-site Food Service team in Idaho Falls. If you enjoy providing excellent customer service, keeping things running smoothly, and working in a positive, people-first environment — this is the place for you. This position supports Melaleuca’s in-house café and food services by preparing fresh meals, assisting customers, and ensuring every guest enjoys a clean, welcoming, and well-stocked environment.

Requirements

A positive attitude and commitment to great service
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Basic math, reading, and communication skills
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the day

Nice To Haves

Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right person!

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service while taking and preparing food orders
Operate the cash register and handle transactions with accuracy
Prepare ingredients for the salad bar (wash, slice, and portion produce, meats, and other items)
Monitor food quality and portion sizes
Assist with daily kitchen operations, including dishwashing, cleaning, and restocking
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
Follow all food safety and sanitation practices
Perform other duties as needed to support the team
