Requirements

  • Physical ability to manually lift 40 lbs.
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, pull, push, climb stairs or stand for extended periods of time.
  • May encounter temperatures ranging from 20 degrees F to 400 degrees F around equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned staff in operation of food assembly in compliance with department, local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Lead other staff in and prepare, portion, assemble, and serve meals per menu specification.
  • Lead other staff in and operates all food re-thermalization and refrigeration equipment to serve clients hot and cold meal requirements.
  • Lead other staff in and operate refrigeration, heating, and ware washing equipment to maintain safe temperature requirements.
  • Keeps daily records of temperature charts.
  • Lead other staff in and organize the serving and maintenance of food operation and equipment.
  • Lead other staff in and performs all ware washing, sanitation, and cleaning techniques to meet department standards.
  • Lead other staff in and verify food service accuracy and follow all prescribed procedures and instructions.
  • Provides required services in a pleasant, helpful, and positive manner to demonstrate good customer service.
  • Adhere to patients' privacy and "Bill of Rights" standards requirements while performing duties.
