About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager of Dining Room Operations the Food Service Sanitation worker is responsible for various sanitation duties at the Nellis Air Force Base Dining Facility. This person will ensure the dining area and kitchen equipment are cleaned and well stocked and all duties are performed in accordance with departmental and military policies, practices, and procedures. • Current Food Handlers Card or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand 95% of the time.
• Ability to bend, climb, walk and lift.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one (1) year experience in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bussing dining room tables.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, i.e., ovens, stoves, refrigerators and beverage area.
• Clean and operate dishwasher.
• Clean and sanitize pots/pans, dishes, and flatware.
• General cleaning of the entire dining, kitchen, restroom, loading docks, grease areas, storage, and trash area.
• Work efficiently and professionally with team members and military personnel.
• Report suspected Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation, Isolation, and Abandonment (ANEIA) immediately as mandated by state law.
• May be assigned other duties as needed
