Receives and stores food, paper supplies, cleaning supplies and equipment for the department. Orders food and other supplies from designated vendors. Requisitions supplies from Hospital Receiving. Inventories food and other supplies. Maintains and organizes storage areas according to established guidelines. Transfers freezer stock to refrigerated areas following established guidelines. Stocks patient, retail and non-patient areas. Reports discrepancies and damaged goods that are received. Removes cardboard boxes from kitchen areas and crushes them in the cardboard compactor. Performs other work-related duties and activities as assigned or requested. Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers and co-workers in a manner that reflects Cape Cod Hospital’s commitment to CARES: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and service.
